Presentation and panel discussion at Technology Takes The Wheel-Taking Charge-Electric Vehicles-September 22, 2023.

On September 22, AAA, TMACOG and Owens Community College organized a FREE symposium – Technology Takes the Wheel – Taking Charge – Electric Vehicles. The event explored the opportunities and challenges presented by the growing adoption of electric vehicles. Participants also examined the readiness of Ohio’s infrastructure, workforce development and manufacturing.

Dr. Mubenga, Ph.D, PE, gave a presentation titled ” EV Batteries and Second Life” which showcased Mubenga Group research on hydrogen fuel cell hybrid vehicle, lithium-ion battery technology , and explained the need and technology needed to create a circular economy for used EV batteries. After the presentation, Dr. Mubenga was a panelist in the panel discussion. ”
