Dr. Mubenga and several of her students participated a panel and presented a workshop at the Girl Day – “Introduce a Girl to Engineering” event held on 2/21/2019.

Dr. Mubenga participated a panel and presented a STEM Education related workshop at the Girl Day event. Megan, Samanta, Alaric and Troy are students from her EET3350 Digital logic Design class who volunteered to help with the workshop.

During the workshop, the team taught 6th grade girls how to build and program robots. The girls were coming from Napoleon, OH middle school. The Girl day event was attended by about 460 girls from various middle school in the area.
